Ken Beider has been involved in the Tucson Theater community for quite some time. He appeared in the, now-defunct, Beowulf Theater Company’s widely-praised production of Sins of the Mother and Taking On Macbeth, both plays directed by Vince Flynn. He also starred in Arizona Rose Theater Company’s production of The Rainmaker in which he took on the role of Starbuck. Ever since then, Ken has worked in conjunction with Dan Reichel and Paul Brunelle, appearing in Speak the Speech Theater Company’s productions of True West, Zoo Story, The Elephant Man and American Buffalo. Ken began his theatrical career in Chicago where he served as artistic director for the once critically acclaimed Inn Town Theatre Company. Ken is thankful to be back on the boards in Buried Child. As always, he wishes to thank his daughter Ellee Frances, for her unbridled enthusiasm in his theatrical endeavors, as well as her continued willingness to run lines with him.
